Happy Easter!!

On the 23rd the San Rafael district invited us to come to a park with them and play pickleball.  We have never been with the young missionaries on their P-day before so after a few hours in the office we joined them in Rohnert Park.  Joining us was Elder Miller our Finance Coordinator.  Playing with the young missionaries was so fun.  We just love their spirit and energy.  We played pickleball for a few hours (it was a bit warm outside) and then headed home.  Next time we told them we will bring lunch (they naturally thought that was a wonderful idea).

On Wednesday Elder Cawley rented a 20 foot box truck and loaded it with supplies.  We have four units located in the same gate-guarded apartment community in Vallejo.  This is not the greatest area so it's all Elders.  Their apartments were in great need of refreshing so the truck was full of new stuff.  Elder Ritchie accompanied Elder Cawley on what felt like a rescue mission.  The Elders were very grateful for new furnishings and other items.  We then refilled the truck with their old things and took them to Deseret Industries in Sacramento.  Whatever DI does not accept we bring back to Santa Rosa and destroy.

While destroying one desk and throwing it into the dumpster, a screw decide to go deep into Elder Cawley's right elbow.  That led to a tetanus shot the next day.  We are truly giving our all to the Lord on this mission.

We want to thank you all for your prayers on our behalf. We can feel them.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter Week.  It is such a wonderful time to study, reflect and enjoy the teachings of our Savior. Our dear Prophet, President Oaks, has reminded us, "Jesus Christ is the way!"

We are incredibly happy to be full time missionaries at this time in our lives!! Happy Easter!
