Good to Be Alive!
As many of you know, we are avid Dodger fans. We watched every postseason game we could when not busy with missionary work (we missed a few games, but not many). The World Series was absolutely insane this year - one for the record books. The sad part is there is no more baseball for a few months - the long, dark, cold winter officially begins. Congrats to the Dodgers!!
Transfers were this week and it was a busy time for us. We secured and furnished two new apartments just days before transfers and moved another the day of. We received the largest group in over two years - 27 missionaries! This means lots of trios so for added fun we had to call around and ensure everyone had a bed, a desk and a chair. An intense logistical exercise. We got it all done and then collapsed with head colds. We are both on the mend now but have been sequestered the past few days.

Lots of luggage
Because of our colds we had to cancel our planned trip to Southern California. We were going to go down for a few days for our granddaughter Elisabeth's 10th birthday and halloween. We were very disappointed, but they will be coming up to visit for Thanksgiving in a few weeks. For halloween the missionaries had to be in by 5 pm and instead of handing out candy they handed out gospel pamphlets 😁. Here are our grandchildren (less Lewis on his mission) dressed for halloween:
Kylie and Kinsley as Tele Tubbies
Tag as an army soldier, Reagan as a flying squirrel and Robyn as Sleeping Beauty
Ben as a wizard, Ezra in pajamas, Ruby as a Capybara, and Hazel as a ghost
Elisabeth as Rumi (K Pop Demon Hunters)
